The story of Steph and Brian begins at the University of WI - Green Bay during the fall of 2004.

Brian was warming up for a basketball game when he saw Steph walk into the gym. He was instantly thunderstruck. His teammate and good friend, Ryan Smith, knew Steph through a college club so Brian asked him to arrange a meeting.

A few days later, Ryan told Brian that Steph was planning to attend, 'The Royal Ball', a school dance, and Brian decided to go simply for a chance to meet Steph. In the meantime, Steph had heard about Brian's interest in her from another mutual friend, Stephanie Van Handel (who playing an amazing wing-woman pointed out all of Brian's good traits), and was excited to meet Brian at the dance.

Steph and Brian met that night when Brian finally worked up the courage to ask her to dance and there were immediate sparks. They became good friends talking almost every day and finally started dating March 4th, 2006. Their story has continued on ever since.

They currently reside in Venice, FL where they are enjoying a nice warm winter on the beach. They will be moving back up to WI in late April.
